I am completely obsessed with my new LG Smart Washer It washes my clothes quite well and is very quiet. I really like how it determines the size of the load all on its own so I know it is making the right choice. My husband has been complimenting me on how good the laundry has been smelling and I havent changed anything but getting my new LG Washing Machine I love the smart features the washer has and the fact that I can pretty much set it up to do whatever I would like with downloadable features too. It is also very helpful that the door opens two different ways one is handy for removing laundry and the other is so handy for just throwing one more thing in to dry Probably my favorite feature is the glass top so that I am able to see what is happening inside the machine. I have also never owned a washing machine without an agitator It works so well and I can fit so much more into it I also got the matching dryer I love how nice they look in my laundry room and feel like I am spoiled every time I get to go in there and play with my new toys

I recently went from a front loader which I absolutely disliked to this washer. Im definitely not impressed. When they delivered the washer it had a metallic smell to it as soon as they brought it into my home. I have cleaned the washer washed clothes in it leave the lid open and it still has that metallic smell. The washer stops when I try to add the water plus and just sits there. It is suppose to sense the size of the load but it washes all my loads with a minimum amount of water that my clothes dont even smell clean when they are finished washing. Im extremely disappointed with this purchase.

We bought this machine a year and a half ago after moving to a new home. We chose it primarily because it was about the only thing in stock pandemic supply shortages and we needed something quickly. It washes clothes reasonably well but lacks some features we like. The most notable is that there is no specific setting for washing whites. The biggest issue is reliability. In the last month the control panel has quite working on two different occasions. The first time was for half a day. The second time was for an entire week. It has been a week and a half since we called for service and are still waiting for parts.

Ive had my washer for over a year and now Im being asked for input oddly enough. Anyway I love my LG Washer. It fits everything including comforters easily. Im still adjusting to the fact that new washers use 3 tablespoons of water to wash clothes but Ill live. Its easy to clean and has nice features upon install plus if you download the app you can add more features and washes as well. The Wifi part Im still trying to find a use for. My only downside for it is the power button. Its only been a year and I feel like it or the whole touchscreen may be going out on me already. Kinda sucks since this is happening right as the warranty has expired. But dont let that deter you from buying. Unrelated but possibly related it lets off a very high pitched noise that not everyone can pick up on. Kind of like when you turn on a tv I hear it everytime but others in my house are completely unaware. Still would buy again though.

He patched the leak and ordered the new part about a month ago but the part is backordered and do not know when we will get it. I am not impressed with the warranty service and that makes me leery of buying another LG. We purchased this one in Jan. 2023.

Gets the job done

I have two German Shepherds aka German Shedders. The amount of dog hair is over the top however the dirt they bring in the house is crazy. I am constantly washing blankets throw rugs and towels. This washer gets the job done. The capacity is off the charts. Im also able to wash my horse blankets at home instead of going to the laundry mat in town. Recently the washer was having a cold water flow issue due a valve not shutting off. I called LG as the washer was still under warranty. LG was having a difficult time finding a service center in their network I live in central Wyoming 15 miles away from the nearest city. LG was able to find a local business that was willing to work with LG to fix the washer. Ive read many reviews about LG customer service many people complained. My experience was frustrating because of my location but LG did their due diligence and was able to get the washer fixed. Patience and understanding that there is a process to get the washer repaired makes the experience less frustrating. In a nut shell I absolutely love my washer

the digital button does not turn on

Our LG

We had Fisher/Paykel that was 17 year and old and raised 5 children and did a mom of at least 2 loads a day and on average 3-5 loads a day. And went 17 years we replaced some parts in it so when the pump went out it was time to replace it. Thus LG to the rescue we have had long but I would say so far it been super. It so huge compared to our last washer it has 5 cubic feet in it where our prior washer 3.7 cubic feet. Time will tell the story currently super happy with the purchase..

New technology is horrible

I bought matching pair and have had it 2 months. I am not pleased at all. Clothes dont smell cleanable going in tge dryer. Takes way too long on the speed cycle because it keeps throwing off the spin cycle and you arent able to spin water out and finish the cycle.

Disappointed and Unhappy

I bought this LG Top Load Washing Machine WT7300CV 34 months ago and for the last 18 months we have had to do a hard reset every few days. Now it is not even operational. I am disappointed that it has not lasted longer and that it will cost so much to fix and put in a new motherboard. My brother had the same model and they got ride of theirs in less than 2 years.

I bought this washer on 6/30/2020 and just used this washer one year and one month before I found I could not start the washer by the power button. I searched the web and found a way called cold reset. So almost each time I used the washer I need unplug the power cable press the power button for 5 sec followed by pressing start button for 5 sec the plug the power cable in this way after I pressed the power button I can use this washer. This situation lasted over one year and it is the only way to be able to start the washer. It is a nightmare for me to use this washer. I called the customer service and the only way they can do is to give me a few phone numbers for local service agents to call.

Rusting from the inside in less than 3 years

I bought this machine end of October 2019. It is now September 2022. The inside all around the soap dispenser and the inner lip of the ring that goes around the top of tub is rusted. Rust is falling on my clothes. I reached out to LG and they said Im out of the 1 year warranty and I should contact a repair person at my own expense. WHO MAKES A WASHING MACHING THAT RUSTS ON THE INSIDE??? Its entire job is to use water to clean clothes.

Bought this unit two months ago. Selection based on Consumer Report Recommendation for Brand. Love Product Features Size and LQ Thin Connectivity. Started having issue during wash with error code 1E Inlet Water. Performed Recommended Maintenance Cleaned inlet filter both side cold/hot but error continues. Sometimes unit would run one cycle and then the error would resume. Scheduled product service via LG. Waiting for service to resolve issue with unit.

Good but could be better

We have had this for about a year. There havent been any major problems. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it is too restrictive on the settings. For example if I want to add a certain amount of water I cant. Also if I want to use hot water it will only allow me to do that on certain wash settings. I should always be able to choose the water temperature.

Error code issues after 3 months
